- Swimmers wear two caps, not for any particular reason, they just like it. In fact, most swimmers cannot wait until the day balding kicks in.
- XFactor, Britains Got Talent and Long Lost Family are not the only things that make us weep, rounds of gold, silver and bronze do it to us too. We are emotional and we like it.
- The French will always have the last say - just look at what they did to our Princess to get us back for winning the bid.
- Aquatic centres, swimming pools, green houses - will always be just a little bit hot.
- A flag is the most useful thing to carry in a handbag - picnic blanket, duvet, table cloth, dress, you name it, it can be it.
- We can no longer survive without the BBCiPlayer.
- We love everyone and everything. The tubes - love 'em. The Recession- Love it.
- Wearing the Olympic stewards threads will instantly transform you into Mr Nice/Mr Happy or Mr Good Morning.
- Borris can bust a move.
- Shopping really is a sport. Why else would they build an Olympic Park next to Westfields?
- Everyone is sporty in their own rights. You handed out the bibs for the school hokey team? Yes, you are sporty, congrats.
- There is a slight possibility that the Queen would go on Punk'd.
- MacDonalds is a part of an athletes diet and therefore must be healthy.
